The Lacombe Kles-Air Rockets is hosting eight teams from various communities in Alberta for their league provincials.

The U-15 Rockets have finished second in their league but lost in the semi-finals to Cochrane for the Central Alberta Hockey League. Despite the loss, the team is looking forward to hosting provincials. Some players have not been able to experience provincials yet.

“The team is really excited to be hosting as many players have not participated in provincials before and never hosted! We have about three out of 17 players that have experienced provincials in years prior. A couple were getting ready for provincials when COVID started,” said Rylee Scott and organizer for the team.

Provincials will be going form March 24th to March 27th and games are free to watch. The Rockets invited all friends and family to come support them throughout the weekend.
