There's been a waitlist for every Social Media Breakfast Lacombe and those lists are getting longer as local businesses jump at the chance to receive free advice around social media, communications and marketing.

The volunteer run group launched 10 months ago when web designer Brenda Sargeant of Unlimited B-S was approached to start a Lacombe group after much success with Social Media Breakfast Red Deer the last 4 years.

Sargeant is thrilled how Lacombe has responded to the breakfasts which happen the 1st Wednesday of every 2nd month "it's been fantastic, people here seem really excited I think at the opportunity to get the knowledge and the opportunity just to all gather, I don't think they get that opportunity for all the business owners to get together so it's a great networking opportunity".

Yesterday's breakfast at the Best Western sold out at 50 people, with attendees learning how Instagram can be a great marketing tool for their business.
