After ten days of self-isolation, we really needed a break and some fresh air. We decided to go for a walk around our neighborhood in Sylvan Lake. There were very few people out, and of course with the ones we did see, we practiced the social distancing that has become so important these days.
Apart from feeling great getting some fresh air, we got another pleasant suprise...chalk drawings.
It started with a simple chalk drawing of a hop-scotch game (which I tried my best to jump through), and as we kept walking we kept noticing more and more of these drawings on our neighbors driveways and sidewalks.
I'm not sure how this all started but I think it's a great idea to spread a little bit of color and happiness around the neighborhood.
On our 30 minute walk we noticed at least ten different drawings. Thanks to everyone for putting a smile on our face. Keep up the good work.
