Ice Advisory for the Little Red Deer River

On Thursday April 13th the River Forecast Center issued an Ice Advisory for the Little Red Deer River from Highway 766 to the mouth.

An ice jam has been reported at Red Lodge Provincial Park, raising water levels but not yet causing flood impacts.

Snowmelt runoff is expected to continue with the forecasted warm weather. Water levels around ice jams are unstable, and are subject to rapid water level fluctuations, which may occur without warning.
