The Canadian Pacific Railway Holiday Train rolled through Central Alberta today (December 8). The train made stops in Blackfalds, Lacombe, Ponoka and Wetaskiwin sharing some holiday tunes from Tenille Townes and Aysanabee.

In Lacombe, it was a beautiful afternoon to see the festive train and donations were being accepted for the Lacombe Food Bank. CP Rail also presented Lacombe Mayor Grant Creasey with a $4,000 cheque for the Lacombe Food Bank.

The Holiday Train will be back in the area on Saturday, December 10 for a concert in Innisfail at 1:15PM and Olds at 2:45PM. Until then the train will be headed to the Edmonton area.
