Red Deer Rebels-1 Calgary Hitmen-2

The Calgary Hitmen, after being shut out in game one, proved will not go away easily.

Their best-of-seven WHL Eastern Conference quarter final is now tied at one game apiece after they scored in overtime to win game two, 2-1.

The game was scoreless until halfway through the third period when Vegas Golden Knights prospect, Christoffer Sedoff scored to put the home team up 1-0.

Then over 5,000 fans at The Peavey Mart Centrium watched as Calgary pulled their goalie, and would score with just 1:37 remaining in the game.

Both teams failed to score on the powerplay.

The series will now switch to Calgary as game 3 goes tomorrow night (Monday) and game four on Wednesday at The Saddledome.
