Around 2:33PM Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm warning in the Central Alberta area.  At around 5:00PM the City of Lacombe was pelted with hail as large as golf balls in some areas of the City. 

The severe thunderstorm warning has ended in Lacombe, Blackfalds, and Bentley.  

Fortis Alberta had reported a couple outages on the North West side of the City.
