After a huge 10-4 win Tuesday night against Weyburn, The Sylvan Lake Gulls were shut out last night 5-0 against Regina.

The Gulls just couldn't seem to get their bats going last night against the Red Sox. Regina scored runs in the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th innings to shut out the visiting team.

James Brock was named the losing pitcher for Sylvan Lake.

The good news is they will have another shot at redemption tonight with game two versus Regina with starting pitch at 7:05.

The Gulls are in the middle of a 7-game road trip which will wrap up this Saturday. The Playoffs will start on August 7th.

With the loss last night, the Gulls are sitting just one game behind first place Okotoks in the WCBL West Division.
