Now that the world has opened up families don’t have to do their Easter activities virtually anymore. Here’s a look at some the Easter themed activities happening in central Alberta this weekend. 

Easter Brunch, Egg Hunt and Family Fun at the Track on 2

Several fun activities will be happening at the Track on 2 on Saturday, April 16 from egg hunts, side walk chalk, and egg colouring as well.

Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at Sunnybrook Farm

Bring a basket and hunt for eggs at the Sunnybrook Farm Museum located at 2879 Botteril Crescent. Admission to the site will be by donation. The event will be happening on Saturday, April 16 from 1PM to 3PM. 

 

Easter Egg Hunt at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame 

Hunt for eggs and celebrate sports at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 16th starting at 10 AM.  

 

Rimbey Easter Farmers’ Market

Buy some local goods at the Rimbey Easter Farmers’ Market from 11AM to 3PM at the Peter Lougheed Community Centre in Rimbey. 

 

Eggstravagant Easter Sunday at Home Church Ponoka

On Sunday, April 17th, following a church service at home church from 10:30-11:30AM You can check out a petting zoo, visit the Easter bunny, jump in the bounce houses, and participate in an Easter Egg hunt.  The event will go until 2:00PM.
