E-Scooters have rolled back into the City of Lacombe. The E-Scooter Company called Neuron Mobility is operating in the City as of April 28th.

35 E-Scooters from Neuron Mobility will be available for use in the City. Neuron’s scooters also come with helmets. They operate in Red Deer, Calgary, Lethbridge, and Airdrie.

“Safety is our top priority, it dictates our e-scooter design, and also the way we operate them. Our vehicles are jam-packed with cutting-edge safety features and we know from experience in other cities like Red Deer that riders really appreciate this. We look forward to partnering with the City of Lacombe to make a positive impact on the community, through greater access to safe, smart and sustainable travel options,” said Ankush Karwal, Head of Market for Canada at Neuron Mobility.

He reminds local riders to be sure to ride and park responsibly. Riders can visit Scootsafe Academy to get free riding credits.

Last spring, Roll Technologies Inc. brought e-scooters to  Lacombe and Blackfalds for the first time. Due to financial challenges, the e-scooter company noted they would not be continuing business in the community earlier this year.
