As the winter weather continues to hit us here in Central Alberta, as we are hearing reports of a few incidents this morning. We will update them as more information comes in.

Be sure to check out the AMA Road Report site for all the up-to-date road reports. They recommend you clean off all the snow on your vehicle, including all windows, your head and tail lights and license plate. 

10:33 am. We've received reports of a rolled over semi-truck and trailer on the QE2 northbound, just north of the highway 27 Olds overpass affecting both lanes. Traffic is slow-moving through the left lane. Use caution in the area. 

Update: 9:00 am: The two vehicle head-on collision eastbound on highway 11 has now been cleared. However, there are still delays in the area. Please use caution and avoid Highway 11 if possible.  

The QE2 north and southbound appears to finally be clear of snow from Blackfalds south to Bowden. However, roads east, west, and north of Lacombe are still covered in snow and ice.

School bus cancellations: Wednesday, November 6th, 2019.

7:10 am: Reports of a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 11 at the Alix turn-off. Reports of at least two vehicles colliding head-on. Please use caution in the area.

8:00 am: Scene Cleared. Eastbound Hwy11 approaching the Hwy 601 junction south of Alix, motor vehicle collision causing delays in the area. (6:17am) via @511Alberta #ABRoads
