Lacombe Days kicked off with an absolute scorcher of a day but that didn’t stop the crowds from heading out and enjoying the festivities.

The Kinsmen Club and the Sunny 94 crew served over 900 burgers at the Sunny 94 Barbeque in support of the Kinsmen’s local initiatives.

Meanwhile, at the Lacombe Memorial Centre the Lacombe FCSS held their Hula Hoop Circus. The Africa Caribbean Alliance showed off some of their arts and crafts.

Throughout the afternoon, there were plenty demos, and tours happening at Lacombe’s Historical Sites.

Into the evening, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Pool Party Fundraiser was packed and the Kinsmen Aquatic Center.

Lacombe residents and visitors also took in some Great Canadian Wrestling at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex in support of Lacombe Minor Hockey.

However, the fun isn’t over yet, there are still two more days to head out into the community and celebrate the City. You can check out the full schedule here.
