After a two-year hiatus the CP Holiday train will be returning to local communities to celebrate the holidays, raise money, and provide food for local food banks.
"I'm grateful to the CP team members who adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic to deliver two exceptional virtual Holiday Train shows and to all those who continued to donate while we kept community members safe," said Keith Creel, CP's President and Chief Executive Officer. "The Holiday Train is all about families and communities coming together to celebrate the season and help those in need. We are excited to be back out on the rails and in our communities, taking these two beautiful trains across our network and sharing the joy that comes with gathering in the spirit of giving."
This year’s tour will include 168 stops across North America with live performances from Alan Doyle, Tenille Townes, Mackenzie Porter, Lindsay Ell, and more.
The shows are completely free to attend but those attending are encouraged to bring a donation or non-perishable food item that will go towards local food banks in the hosting town or city.
On December 8th and 10th the train is expected to make a couple of stops in central Alberta. We can expect performances from Tenille Townes and Aysanbee.
