A name has been selected for Penhold’s new Middle School. Yesterday, Chinook’s Edge School Division chose a name based on community ideas.
The new school’s name will be ‘Penhold Waskasoo Middle School.’ The announcement of the new school was made last week following the release of Alberta’s Budget 2023 which will be funding the new facility.
Penhold Waskasoo Middle School is being built to address capacity challenges in the Town of Penhold. The construction of the new school is anticipated to begin in fall of 2023.
