The Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre (CASASC) is inviting the public to take part in the first ever Red Deer Lip Sync Battle Event.

After two years of isolation the organization is looking forward to bringing people together in the community.

“We’re excited to be working with the CASASC team on this joint collaboration, said Danielle Worobey of Lead the Way. “This is an initiative that I have wanted to run for quite some time now, and I think this is the perfect timing now for our community to come together and reconnect for a great cause. I can’t think of a better way to do this then to have a lip sync challenge.”

Teams can register for a $500 entrance fee per team plus additional donations. The money will be going towards Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support and their work in supporting and empowering people and the community in all aspects of sexual violence.

You can check out the battle for free of charge on May 14th at Bower Ponds from 10 AM to 4 PM.
