After two days of snow, Central Alberta highways are still in poor driving condition.
According to 511 Alberta, some parts of the QE2 are still snow covered with icy sections. Secondary highways like highway 11 between Red Deer and Rocky Mountain House are snow and ice covered.
There are still reports of vehicles hitting the ditch Sunday.
The Environment Canada forecast is calling for light snow Sunday afternoon turning to snowfall amounts between 5-10 cms on Monday. This could create a slippery drive Monday morning for Central Alberta commuters.
