Sunny 94 has partnered with Central Alberta Rescue Effort Shelter (C.A.R.E.S) to bring you pet of the week! Each Wednesday we feature a new, super friendly, totally adoptable dog or cat. We’ll tell you a bit about them in hopes you’ll go to CARES, meet them, fall in love, and take them home with you!

Cadon

This is Cadon!

Hello, my name is Cadon! I am a 2 year old male Cocker Spaniel that was brought to CARES by my owner who couldn’t take care of me anymore. I recently had a small operation to remove a lump from my side so I’ll be able to show you my cool scar! Having scars is cool, right?

I’m fully grown right now so I would make the perfect medium-sized dog able to function in just about every living space. Since I’m a Cocker Spaniel I LOVE to run and be active! It’s in my breed to be outside and burn some energy. I’m very social with other dogs. My personality hasn’t fully been shown in the shelter because when it comes to people right now I’m very reserved. In my previous living space things weren’t very good so I’m just starting to learn that humans are my friend and that they can be trusted. Don’t take my shy personality as a sign that I don’t like you though! I really want to be your best friend, I’m just a little bit scared and unsure right now. The ladies at CARES have officially deemed me ‘adoptable’!

I am neutered and all caught up on my vaccinations (including kennel cough and rabies). I would very much like to be the newest member of your family! If I don’t suit your lifestyle, there are lots of dogs and cats just like me at CARES looking for a 2nd chance at life. Book an appointment with CARES and come meet me!
