Wednesday night, the Blackfalds Bulldogs knew they had a tough match up against the Drumheller Dragons. Not only were they already down 2 games to 1 in the series, but they were facing the Drumheller team at home in front of over 1500 fans.

Unfortunately the Dragons would prove to be the better team and would beat the Bulldogs 5-3 in game four. Drumheller would score twice in the first period and then again in the first five minutes of the second to go up 3-0. Connor Dick would respond for the Bulldogs but just two minutes later the Dragons would score again to make 4-1 going into the final period.

Goals by Kurt Gurkan and a second by Connor Dick early in the third frame would make things interesting, but not enough as Drumheller would score an empty net goal to finish the game 5-3.

Both teams went 0 for 2 on the power play

Blackfalds outshot their opponent 32 to 21 but still came up on the wrong end of the scoresheet.

Game five goes this Friday (March 31st) 7:00 pm at The Eagle Builders Centre in Blackfalds. It's a must win game for the Bulldogs.
