The Centennial Regional Arena in Brooks has not been kind to the Blackfalds Bulldogs so far in their third round match up against a very tough Brooks Bandits.

The Bandits who went 53-5-2 in the regular season, had a record against the Bulldogs of 2-3-1.

After losing 5-2 in the series opener on Friday night, Blackfalds would go down 2 games to 0 as Brooks would prevail once again with a 4-2 win in game two on Saturday.

The Bandits would score three goals in the first period and enough for the win. Blackfalds goals by Connor Dick and Kurt Gurkan would make the game interesting, but it wouldn't be enough as Brooks would score their fourth with just over 3 minutes left.

Matthew Hennessey would stop 21 of 25 shots on net.

Game three will be back at home in Blackfalds on Tuesday. A 7:00 pm start at the Eagle Builders Centre. Game four on Wednesday.
