In front of a packed Eagle Builders Centre in Blackfalds, the Bulldogs showed why they deserve to be in the second round of the AJHL playoffs.

Blackfalds would beat Drumheller 8-2 Friday night on home ice. After falling 3 games to 1 in the series,  game 5 was a must-win for the Bulldogs.

It was looking a bit tense for the home team as they ended the first period tied with Drumheller 1-1.

But in the second period Blackfalds, with goals from Brendon Ross (his second of the night), Jack Plandowski, Brett Meerman, and two more from Kody Willick would crush the Dragons ending the second frame with a score of 6-1.

Two more goals in the third would put the stamp on game five and a strong comeback for the Bulldogs.

Blackfalds goalie, Matthew stopped 25 of 27 shots. The Bulldogs would go 3 for 7 on the power play.

Game 6 goes Sunday afternoon at 5 pm in Drumheller.
