For the first time in franchise history, The Blackfalds Bulldogs have won a playoff series, and will be moving on to the second round.

The AJHL team beat the Calgary Canucks 4-1 on the scoreboard and in games during the series.

With a goal from Tanner Willick,  two from Tyler Wallace, and an empty netter from Brendan Ross, the Dogs were able to seal the deal.

Shots on goal were 34-26 in favour of the Blackfalds Bulldogs.

The second round opponent for Blackfalds has not yet been determined. They will play either the Drumheller Dragons or the Okotoks Oilers. The first game of round two goes Friday, March 24 at the Eagle Builders Centre in Blackfalds.
