The Blackfalds Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is in the midst of their Youth Week. Every evening since Monday, the organization has been hosting activities aimed towards local youth.

“Youth Week is a week full of fun events for youth just to celebrate their contributions in society and again, just making sure that they have things to do and be productive members of society,” said Sierra Fitch, Youth Programmer at the Blackfalds FCSS.

Youth week is held every May 1-7 and Fitch says tons of funof activities have already happened with more to come.

"The one I'm most excited about is comic creation on Friday, May 5th. You get to learn how to create your own comic strip with art psychologist, Tammy Auten-Dye. She will kind of put in a couple of coping skills that you could also find while you’re making your own comic strips,” added Fitch.
