BGC (formerly known as Boys and Girls Club) is inviting the community to take part in their Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony in Lacombe. The event will be held on Thursday, September 22 at 5:30PM at the Lacombe Upper Elementary School.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to take a tour of the club’s new location and meet the staff.
The After School Program runs from 3:00PM to 5:30PM and the School’s Out Program runs on professional development days from 8:30AM to 5:30PM. The programs are eligible for kids in Kindergarten to Grade 6. It is a licensed child care program meaning that parents can access government subsidy to pay for the fees. The After School Program costs $15 a day and the School’s Out Program will cost $35-$45 depending on the day’s activities.
BGC has been running programming in Ponoka for the last 20 years and in Rimbey for the last eight. This will be the first year BGC programming will be happening in Lacombe.
