The 8th Annual Alix Rodeo is happening this Saturday and Sunday (August 19 and 20). The Alix Agricultural Society will be hosting a variety of rodeo events including barrel racing, bareback saddle bronc, ladies ranch bronc, team roping, breakaway, bull riding, and more.
The rodeo events are sanctioned by the Central Alberta Rodeo Association (CARA) and will be held at the Alix Agricultural Society Grounds. There will be free camping and a cabaret on Saturday night. Food trucks will also be on site for Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to the rodeo there are a couple of other events happening in the Village of Alix:
Pancake Breakfast

The Alix Fire & Medical Department will be hosting a pancake breakfast.
Alix Parade
Location: Downtown Alix
Time: Saturday, August 19, starts at 10AM
The Alix Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a parade.
