Sunny 94 has partnered up with humanitarian organization "A Better World" to launch the 2017/Canada 150 initiative: 12 Acts of Compassion!

It's a very simple project that hopes to use the ripple effect to bring compassion, positive attitudes, and warm hearts to the community of Lacombe and surrounding areas.

It's as easy as deciding to one small kind gesture to someone you know, or even to a stranger!

So how exactly does 12 Acts of Compassion work?

Once a month, do something kind for someone else. It can be something big and totally out there, or it can be something small and unnoticable. Then, head over to either this post of to A Better Worlds website and submit the good deed you did! It will show up on the page as inspiration for someone else who wants to do something nice!

Once a month, Marissa from Sunny weekends will feature someone's good deed on the air (there may even be some prizes in it for them!). She'll pick from good deeds on the website or you can call into the station and share your story that way.

Eric Rajah, the founder of the 12 Acts of Compassion initiative says he came up with the idea when he moved to Canada when he was young:

Click HERE to submit your act of kindness! All it takes is one small thing to turn into something bigger and amazing! Sunny 94 will be participating in this and we are very excited to see where it leads!
