Lacombe, Red Deer and Clearwater Counties are teaming up to host a working well management workshop next week.

It's set for Tuesday (Jan 31st) at the Hespero Hall in Condor.

A poorly maintained well can put your water supply at risk and if you are among the 450 thousand Albertans who use their water well for household purposes, you're encouraged to attend.

It's important to understand how groundwater works, learning about your well and how to properly maintain it to ensure your water is safe and secure.

Technical expertise will be on hand from Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, Alberta Environment and Parks, Alberta Health Services and licensed water well drillers.

It's a free workshop but you must pre-register by calling your local County office:

  • Lacombe County 403-782-8959
  • Red Deer County 403-350-2150
  • Clearwater Ag Services 403-844-4444
