The CanolaPALOOZA is an event that brings the best research and agronomists into one place. It's designed for producers to come and learn in an interactive environment.

The event is set up like a carnival, and will have over 70 researchers and speakers from across the country to highlight their expertise in the industry. It is split up into stations, so you can spend as little or as much time as you would like at each spot.

Megan Madden, Communication Coordinator for the Alberta Canola Producers Commission, says this is their third year doing the event.

"We've got everything from experts on harvest and straight cutting, to digging a big soil pit so farmers can see the different levels of soil and learn about the fertility that goes along with canola. We really do have something for everyone, and we always say, if you have question about canola this is the place to get it answered."

The event is free, but they ask you to register in advance. It's still over a week away, and they already have over 500 people signed up.
